Wow, our cat is lazy lately. Maybe she's still recovering a little from the surgery - the woman at the shelter told us she would be sluggish for a couple days, but she's sprawled on the window sill right now, nappin' and dreaming possibly. Heh.
Hey, for you cat owners...Rydia sorta spazzed and freaked out in a bad way yesterday. She started flipping out, batting at her whiskers, face, and the general area around her. She even ran around in circles, jumped on the bed and onto Jen. Later on, she started bolting back and forth between the two main rooms as if something was freaking her out. Jen was worried she might have had a seizure, but I'm wondering if this has happened to any of you.
As for me...we spent most of the weekend with a friend, Neal, who had left BU sometime Junior year. We had dinner Saturday, and a BBQ Sunday night (we got back from that a little late - whoops ^^) Work is ok for me...unfortunately, this one idea we had didn't pan out, so I'll need to discuss with my supervisors tomorrow about the next step we should take.
Ugh, classes start again in a month and a half. I asked the head of the BME Grad department if it would be possible to work in two different labs, for two theses, but he kindly rejected my enthusiasm, telling me it's basically impossible to find the time for something like that.
