First, it was an issue with the battery on my Toshiba Satellite (A105 series) not charging. As in at all. That sucked.

The new battery charged, but when unplugged, it would linger at 100% for 5-15 minutes, then bust out with "You are at a critical battery level. Please save yo-" *zwip* Fantastico, but at least I can have a temporary charge while moving my computer around.

NOW, the computer is randomly deciding when it wants to draw power from the electrical outlet; at random times the connection to the AC adapter will cut out, depending on how the computer is positioned. This can either be an issue with the adapter itself or with the port it plugs into on the computer. I have no idea how to diagnose this without dropping the ~$100 I don't have on another adapter to test things -_-

Anyone know what I might be able to do relatively cheaply to try and pinpoint the issue(s)? I'm not opposed to cracking open the machine as it's past warranty already.
