PSA: Javascript Security Flaw in Adobe Reader

If you or someone you love uses Reader, be warned that a security flaw has been detected in their implementation of Javascript: http://blogs.adobe.com/psirt/2009/04/update_on_adobe_reader_issue.html

Follow the directions in that e-mail to disable Javascript in Reader; until Adobe patches future releases, this is the only way to get around the flaw (aside from using another PDF reader, of course).

One more site to avoid :(

Seems the Smash Dojo is going to start posting Hidden Character information now that the game has seen release in Japan. Shame, I really liked that site, but I'm going to have to avoid it from now on if I want to stay relatively spoiler-free until March 9.

Rydia broke the Internet

Our cat loves our computers, as Jen may have attested before. She especially loves walking on the keyboards, a possible attempt to interface with the machine and thus get even more attention.

However, just 5 minutes ago, she broke the internet.

I was cutting and pasting a link to a GameFAQs message board when Rydia - as she does every once in a while - jumped onto the bed to get to the window sill. My computer was in the way of her path, though, so rather than walk around it, she walks OVER it, stares at the screen for a sec, then moves off and goes to the sill.

"Warning: Internet Explorer has caused such and such an error, and must be shut down. We apologize for the inconvenience."

That's all I have to say about that : )
