Laptop woes continue
The good news: somehow the backlight/inverter troubles I'd been having are gone.
The bad news: I FUBAR-ed the rest of the LCD kit, including - but not limited to - cracking the glass in a few points, thus leaving me with a whitish screen and some liquid splotches in the glass. I'm going to have to ask my bros to bring the computer parts I left behind with them so I can replace the monitor; I don't have $200 to buy a new one at this point.
